Rick Jones - Association of Video Professionals, Director at Large
Working in the business world for many years with little satisfaction, Rick came to the conclusion that he wanted to get into the creative arts field. He had PC computer experience and went back to school to get a degree in Photographic studies. He then started a successful commercial photography business and expanded to add graphic and web design. Rick worked to get another degree, this time in Multimedia Design. Once video became digital, it quickly became the focus of his business. With expertise in both technical and visual aspects of the industry, Rick brings a wealth of knowledge to AVP. "We created this organization realizing that we're not alone in this business. Everyone needs some help with the technical, business, or creative areas and each studio has something to contribute. By sharing knowledge and ideas with each other we make each other stronger. It's a win-win all around."
